This is a follow-up post from my Jerk-tofu recipe. If you’ve tried making the jerk-tofu, then now you should have a little pot of left-over marinade sitting waiting to be used!
I have pretty mixed feelings about onion rings. Whilst I will agree that they are tasty.. traditional onion rings, in all their battered, fried glory.. just seem pretty.. gross.
Heavily processed, lacking in nutritional value, and high in fat..
If you make them yourself they will obviously be better.. but what if you could make them healthy?
I love Mexican food. The freshness, the zing, the spice. You just can’t beat it. Which is why I was a little annoyed when I realised that today was Cinco de Mayo, and I didn’t have a recipe prepared to share with you all! Oops! So here is a very quick, simple recipe for a zingy, fruity salsa!
I absolutely adore Halloween. The funky macabre decorations adorning the house (I think I have just as many, if not more, Halloween decorations as I do Christmas ones!), dreaming up weird and wonderful costume. Whether they be strange, cute, funny or scary, I love the process of coming up with a costumes (even if it is a last-minute rumage through the wardrobe to find something that will do!)
But above all, I love being able to go a little wild in the kitchen.. making foods that at any other time of the year would be deemed repulsive, creepy, and downright vile… At Halloween, anything goes!
