(I know it’s day 5 now, but my blog was down last night, so I’m posting this quickly before it goes down again!! Hopefully it will stay on long enough to get today’s post done!)
Good evening MOFO-ers, it’s another late-night post! I think I might just accept the fact that I’m a night owl of a blogger.. Oh well, it’s still a hoot!
(I’m also a very punny person.. a very bad-punny person..)
Ahem. I had intended on sharing with you all today the recipe which I made last night.. Which was going to be a cheesy omelet..
But the recipe ended up turning out a bit drier than I would have liked, and as I just tried upload the photos to share them with you all anyway, my laptop has decided to play silly buggars and won’t let me upload them here! It’s allowed some.. but not others. So tomorrow I will have to do some investigating to see what on earth’s going on!
(Edit: Turns out the problem was that the blog was actually down! Photo’s to come in future posts x)
Instead, I’ll share instead a very quick few photos of today’s light lunch!
Hello fellow MOFO-ers! I had intended on doing a nice long blog post today about the wonders and joys of cashew cheese (cue trumpet fan-fare and confetti). But alas, moving got in the way, and what with packing, cleaning and working (again!) I’m now getting very close to running out of day.. I really do need to start writing these things earlier on!
Good god, where has the day gone? I had planned on having a recipe post up today, but things have been so busy I haven’t had the chance! What with work, packing to move, tidying, cooking, and spending the evening taking our bed apart (it’s as fun as it sounds) I no longer have the time to post up a recipe, so it will have to wait until tomorrow. For now, I will just share some foodie photos from today!
On my side, I have boxes, scissors and packing tape.
On the other side – Clutter, dust, and over a year and a half of accumulated…. stuff.
So far, I seem to be winning the battle. Though that’s difficult to see right now, with boxes blotting out the light from the windows, and piles of “things” gathered in every corner, waiting to be sorted. Waiting to strike.
Moving house really can feel like an up-hill battle at times. Every single thing that you own is dragged out of the dark depths in which it’s hidden for who-knows how long, piled up in heaps and boxes to stare you in the face, making you ask yourself – Why on earth did I keep That? Where did that come from? Do I need this?
In the face of all of this chaos, you become ruthless. Throwing away things that once, a long time ago, you had some reason to keep that now alludes you. It’s not only a battle with your house and your possessions, but a battle with yourself. As you try to cut down the never-ending mountain of boxes that need to be moved…
Spring time is one of my favourite times of the year. It starts to warm up (so no more worrying about, is it going to snow today? Are we going to have another supermarket raid as everyone panic-buys 20 loaves of bread?) And it’s also not too hot that, with the exception of curling up inside your freezer, there’s nothing you can do to escape the heat (Something that I’ve only ever experienced since living in Devon. In Wales, such heat is just a myth!)
Hello lovelies! Well as promised, today I’m going to show you a super easy recipe! This is just one of the many uses of Pixie Parmesan, but it’s definitely a good one! 😀
Now, people who know me might be a little surprised that the first recipe I post, is Cheese-coated Chips! And if you’re a healthy eater, don’t panic. These chips aren’t oily, or unhealthy – But they certainly don’t taste like health-food! Continue reading →
Hello lovelies! Well today was an interesting day! My food Health & Hygiene course!
My day started before 7, at silly o’clock, so that I’d have enough time to fit everything in, like feeding the rabbits, before I had to be off!
(I don’t know about you, but I much prefer to get up earlier than I need to in the morning, so that I have time to sit down, have a few cups of coffee, instead of having to wake up and bolt out of the door!)
I had planned on walking the 2 or so miles to the safety course (which could mean leaving ridiculously early!) but my lovely partner agreed to give me a lift in instead! This of course meant me being dropped off 45 minutes early for the course… but it was a lovely day, so I think sitting on a bench in the sunshine reading a book counts as a rather good start to the day!
(Though typically, I didn’t take my camera, so no photos of the wonderfully scenic building and grounds!)
