Good afternoon lovelies! I just want to start by saying an enormous thank you to everyone who commented to enter my give-away! I’m a bit overwhelmed by just how many people joined in! But then it is a truly fabulous bundle of goodies so I can understand the excitement!
The winner has been chosen and contacted, so I’ll be able to get those goodies sent out ASAP! Hope you let me know how you like them!
And for everyone who didn’t win – Sorry! But, all is not lost. You can purchase all of the goodies for yourself over on Indigo Herbs’s website!
Since there was so much interest (and the winner might be sat thinking “Now what do I do with this lot?”) I thought I’d try experimenting a little with some of the ingredients! And so I present to you, pumpkin seed protein porridge!
There’s a bit of a grey area I think as to what “Banana Bread” should be called. I’ve eaten platefuls of what’s always been known as “Banana Bread” in the past, but to me it always seems a bit too decadent, too rich, to be simply classed as bread.
After all, I can hardly imagine anyone wanting to use two slices of this to make their breakfast BLT (That’s vegan bacon, mind you!)
Hello lovelies! Good god it’s been a while since my last post hasn’t it? Life has been rather busy lately!
I spent over a month working with my parents in Wales. I generally help them out with their business from 9-5, then cook lunch (yes, Lunch at 5!), stop for a little break, and then spend the evening working on my own orders!
Then 1am rolls around and I realise I haven’t written about that recipe I made over a month ago, or written reviews about restaurants in Brighton….
But when I walk past this view to go work every morning.. the longs hours really don’t matter! Continue reading →
When I was planning my partners trip away, I did a lot of research into places to stay. My first thought was to find a nice hostel. I’ve stayed in a few during various trips, and most of them have been quite nice (only one that I didn’t like, but I shan’t go into details there!). The only trouble with hostels though, is quite often you have to share your room with strangers. For a research trip to London for a uni project, that’s not too bad. But for a birthday special treat? Not so nice!
So I contacted the Lovely Jo Jo of Vegan in Brighton to ask her if she had any suggestions of veggie-friendly B&B’s or Hotels, and she suggested I look into a place called Paskins!
