It’s one of my friends birthday’s tomorrow, and she asked me if I’d mind helping her out with a Victoria sponge recipe which she could make. Well, of course I said yes! Helping someone out with cooking? How could I say no?
There’s a bit of a grey area I think as to what “Banana Bread” should be called. I’ve eaten platefuls of what’s always been known as “Banana Bread” in the past, but to me it always seems a bit too decadent, too rich, to be simply classed as bread.
After all, I can hardly imagine anyone wanting to use two slices of this to make their breakfast BLT (That’s vegan bacon, mind you!)
Do you ever get hit by a sudden wave of inspiration so strong, so unexpected, that even if you’re half-asleep, it makes you leap out of bed to go make it happen?
